Tour package = combination of tours
A tour package is a combination of several individual tours. You will book each tour separately, giving you the full flexibility to customize your tour package as you wish.
Example:
Mr & Mrs Kumar will travel to Ladakh from the 5th to 11th July.
They want to book the tour package called Best of Leh-Ladakh Tour Package (7 days).
The itinerary will be:
This package is the combination of 2 tours:
Mr & Mrs Kumar will arrive in Leh and visit Leh on 5th July.
They will do the tour Indus valley to Lamayuru (2-day tour) on 6th and 7th July.
They will do the tour Nubra valley and Pangong lake (3-day tour) on 8th, 9th and 10th July.
They will leave from Leh on 11th July.
Each tour is booked separately
Each individual tour shall be booked separately with the booking form for private taxi; the price depends on the car category. The price for each package is summarized in a table.

This is the price summary table for the Best of Leh-Ladakh Tour Package (7 days):
Mr & Mrs Kumar want to book a car category B. Therefore, they will book:
- the tour Indus valley to Lamayuru (2-day tour) for ₹ 13,346,
- and the tour Nubra valley and Pangong lake (3-day tour) for ₹ 30,150.
They will pay a total of ₹ 43,496 for the package.
Airport transfers and visit of Leh
The airport transfers and the visit of Leh on the first day are done independently. This means that you will need to arrange the transport by yourself.
For airport transfers, you do not need to book a taxi in advance. Leh airport is only 4 kilometres from the city centre and you can easily find a local taxi (dedicated to airport transfers) directly at the airport; a prepaid taxi from Leh airport to the city centre costs approximately ₹ 600.

The visit of Leh (Main Bazar, Leh Palace, Namgyal Tsemo Gompa, Shanti Stupa) can be done on foot or you can get a local taxi on the street.
1st TOUR - booking form
The first tour is booked with the booking form for private taxi. Clicking on the link in the price summary table will pre-fill the booking form automatically.

For the first tour, Mr & Mrs Kumar need to book the tour Indus valley to Lamayuru (2-day tour) on 6th and 7th July.
They click on the link ₹ 13,346 for a car category B.
They are redirected to the booking form, which is partially pre-filled:
In addition, Mr & Mrs Kumar need to fill in the start date (6th July) and the number of passengers for this 2-day tour before clicking on “BOOK TAXI”:
1st TOUR - booking details
Next step is to review the trip details, select options such as oxygen cylinder rental and payment currency, select the pick-up time and location and provide the contact details.

Mr & Mrs Kumar verify that the selected tour and dates are correct:
They decide whether they want to rent an oxygen cylinder for this tour:
They choose whether they want to pay in rupees or in another currency:
Mr & Mrs Kumar want to start the tour at 8:00 am on 6th July and the driver will pick them up from their hotel in Leh (The Grand Dragon):
The pick-up time and location can also be modified later, until 5 days before your trip.
Finally, Mr & Mrs Kumar provide their contact details:

1st TOUR - booking confirmation email
The booking confirmation email will be immediately sent to you. It contains all the information about your booking (tour details, payment, pick-up information, etc.).

1st TOUR - possibility to modify the pick-up information
In the booking confirmation email, you will find a button which allows you to modify your pick-up time and location.

When clicking on this button, you will be redirected to a page where you can specify your new pick-up time and location. You can modify this information as many times as you want until 5 days before the start of the tour.

Once you validate your new pick-up information on the website, you will receive a new email confirming the modification.
The booking of the first tour is completed!

For the second tour, Mr & Mrs Kumar need to book the tour Nubra valley and Pangong lake (3-day tour) on 8th, 9th and 10th July.
They click on the link ₹ 30,150 for a car category B.
They are redirected to the booking form:
They will then follow the same process:
- check the booking details, select options (oxygen, currency, pick-up) and provide contact details
- proceed with payment
- receive the booking confirmation email

Examples of customized tour packages
Booking each individual tour separately gives you a lot of flexibility. You can customize, combine and select options as you want. The possibilities are infinite!
Example of customized tour package: Car categories
Peter and his family want to book the tour package called The Grand Leh-Ladakh Tour Package (9 days).
This package is the combination of 2 tours:
- Indus valley to Lamayuru (2-day tour),
- and Nubra valley with Turtuk, Pangong and Tso Moriri lakes via Tsaga La (5-day tour).
Peter and his family want to book a car category B for the first tour, Indus valley to Lamayuru (2-day tour).
For the second tour, Nubra valley with Turtuk, Pangong and Tso Moriri lakes via Tsaga La (5-day tour), Peter and his family want to book a car catergory A because they want more comfort for this long tour on bumpy roads.
In the price summary table, they will select the car categories accordingly:
Peter and his family will book:
- the tour Indus valley to Lamayuru (2-day tour) with a car category B for ₹ 13,346,
- and the tour Nubra valley and Pangong lake (3-day tour) with a car category A for ₹ 58,868.
They will pay a total of ₹ 72,214 for the package.
Note: if you would like to keep the same driver during the whole trip, you need to select the same car category for all the tours.
Example of customized tour package: Additional visit
Priya and her friends want to book the tour package called Leh-Ladakh Monasteries Tour Package (7 days).
This package is the combination of 3 tours:
- Indus valley to Lamayuru (2-day tour),
- Nubra valley (2-day tour),
- and Indus valley to Hemis (1-day tour).
During the tour to Nubra valley, Priya and her friends want to visit the Panamik Hot Spring in addition.
Therefore, for the second tour, Priya and her friends will book the tour Nubra valley with Panamik (2-day tour) instead of the tour Nubra valley (2-day tour).
Example of customized tour package: Extra free day in Leh
Mr & Mrs Varma will travel to Ladakh for 7 days from 10th to 16th August. The want to book the tour package called Incredible Leh-Ladakh Tour Package (6 days) and take an extra free day in Leh to relax and do shopping.
This package is the combination of 3 tours:
Mr & Mrs Varma will arrive in Leh and visit Leh on 10th August.
They will do the tour Indus valley to Alchi (1-day tour) on 11th August.
They will do the tour Nubra valley (2-day tour) on 12th and 13th August.
They will take an extra free day in Leh to relax and do shopping on 14th August.
They will do the tour Pangong lake (1-day tour) on 15th August.
They will leave from Leh on 16th August.
