Driver’s contact details:
Your driver’s contact details (name, car plate number, phone number) can be obtained via this link. The driver’s contact details are also included in the booking confirmation email that was sent to you.

Pick-up information:
Your driver will meet you directly at your hotel in Leh. You can specify your pick-up location and pick-up time as you wish. You can modify your pick-up information until 5 days before the start of your trip. To do a modification, click on the link "modify your pick-up information" which can be found in the booking confirmation email which was sent to you when you did the taxi reservation. Update your pick-up information and click “confirm”. You will then receive a confirmation email with your updated pick-up information.

1. How can I get a quote for my trip?

You can create your own customized trip and get price quoted instantly online on this website:

2. Can I book a taxi when I reach Leh?

No, booking needs to be done at least 10 days in advance. We require advance booking because we need to arrange cars for a large number of clients, especially during the peak season. Making the planning and allocating trips to drivers cannot be done at the last minute, many of our drivers come from villages outside Leh so they need to be informed in advance about the schedule.

3. Do the drivers speak English?

Yes, our drivers are used to work with clients from all over the world and they will be able to communicate with you in English. They will do their best to answer all your questions and give you information about the Ladakhi culture and traditions.

4. Will the driver be flexible during the tour?

Yes, our drivers are very flexible and they will make sure that you get the best travel experience in Ladakh. During the tours, you can ask the driver to stop whenever and wherever you want. If you would like to take some time to stroll through a village, the driver will wait for you and he can also guide you if you need.

5. Will the same driver be with me during the whole trip?

Yes, the same driver will be with you for all the tours that you book with us. Make sure to select the same car category for all tours.

6. I want to be picked up from my hotel in Leh, is it possible?

Yes, you can define your pick-up location and pick-up time. The pick-up information can be modified (free of charge) until 5 days before the start of your trip.

7. Can you arrange the Inner Line Permit for me?

Inner Line Permit can be arranged when you are in Leh. It is very easy to obtain the permit and it takes one working day. More information about permits can be found on this page.

8. Do you provide an oxygen cylinder for altitude sickness?

Yes, you will be given the option to rent an oxygen cylinder during your trip. You can choose this option when you do the reservation. For shared taxi, an oxygen cylinder is always included. Oxygen is used to alleviate symptoms of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS).

9. During the tour, I want to go and see a place which is not included in the itinerary, can this be arranged?

Yes, you can ask the driver to take you to a place which is not along the planned itinerary. In that case, the extra distance will be charged ₹ 43 per kilometre (to be paid directly to the driver).

10. Can you book hotels for me?

Yes, once you book a taxi with us, our dedicated team will assist you with your accommodations.

You can also book hotels by yourself on websites offering online hotel reservation services such as booking.com, makemytrip.com, expedia.com and agoda.com or you can contact the hotels directly. If you do not book hotels in advance, the driver will help you to find a hotel, guesthouse or homestay when you reach the location. Most of the guesthouses and homestays in remote villages do not have websites so they cannot be booked in advance.

11. Can I rent a self drive car in Ladakh?

No, you cannot hire a car without driver because tourists are not allowed to drive by themselves in Ladakh. Only official taxis with registered drivers are allowed in the region. Roads are rough and difficult in Ladakh so it is essential to have a professional and experienced Ladakhi driver with you.
