Togocheepa pleasantly surprised us as a good hotel in an area where satisfactory accommodations are hard to come by. The initial charm is the beautiful flower garden at the entrance. Our room, more like two connected rooms, offered ample space and was well-furnished with comfortable beds. The bathroom was functional, and we had no issues, even with the warm shower. Despite being the only guests that day, our dinner was decent. Shukpachan is an good base for exploring the region, and I highly recommend taking a stroll to the old juniper forest at the village's end. This hotel comes with my strong recommendation.

My stay at Togocheepa was just okay, falling short of expectations, especially considering the steep price tag. The family suite, while spacious, lacked the wow factor. The bathroom was average, and the warm shower was the only highlight. The mountain view from the windows was pleasant, but it didn't compensate for the overall mediocrity. The daily food offerings were ordinary, and the repetitive menu quickly became monotonous. The staff, though polite, failed to leave a lasting impression.
While the eco-friendly initiatives were commendable, they didn't justify the exorbitant cost. The small village surroundings were nice and we enjoyed walking around. In summary, considering the hefty price, Togocheepa didn't prove to be worth the expense.

This place has its unique aspects, including the surroundings, nature, and food. The beds are reasonably comfortable, and the staff is attentive. However, considering the overall experience, I found it a bit overpriced. There are various spots to relax and enjoy nature, but it didn't fully justify the cost for me.
