The hotel management is incredibly unprofessional; they lack the courtesy to update guests about location changes. We were shifted to a third-class guest house despite having paid the full amount for Rupshow Residency.

Our reservation was for a Deluxe room, and after a tiring six-hour drive, we were surprised to find ourselves booked at this location. Walking around was dangerous due to ongoing construction, with beams and rods protruding everywhere. The room was in a terrible state, with oil-stained chairs and a bathroom falling apart. This review is solely a warning to alert people about the condition of this place.

Rupshow Residency is more of a guesthouse, so don't expect typical hotel services. They struggle even with simple requests like providing evening tea, even if you're willing to pay. The room was on the smaller side, and neither the bed nor the blankets were clean. To make matters worse, there were cracks in the walls literally sealed with cello-tape. Additionally, the place was undergoing renovations, and exposed iron rods were sticking out in some areas, causing concern, especially for my kid. Given its current condition, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

Considering the remoteness of the place, we were happy to find this hotel. The rooms are good, and what sets this hotel apart is the tower heater inside the room, a rarity in Ladakh among the places I've stayed. Electricity is available from 7 to 11 pm. The hotel staff is very friendly, and the food is great. Be prepared for the chilly temperatures both outside and inside due to cold breezes. Overall, my stay at Rupshow Residency was truly enjoyable, and I highly recommend it.
