We visited Tsomoriri Lake in September. We opted for the Nomadic Life Camp with an excellent location and a lovely view of the lake. The camp staff was very accommodating. They also have a cafe where you can order from the menu, and the food was good. Dinner and breakfast were quite basic, but that's expected in such a remote location. The tent had a double bed with double blankets. When we requested an additional blanket due to low occupancy, they easily provided it. They offer half a bucket of hot water in the morning. Overall, it was a positive experience.

This place offers a basic accommodation near Tso Moriri Lake. It's crucial to note that there's hardly any hotel within walking distance of the lake, unlike some accommodations near Pangong Lake. It seems the management has two properties: Rupshow Residency, a permanent structure, and Nomadic Life Camp, offering tent accommodation. We stayed in the latter in early September, towards the end of the season, with only three out of about fifteen tents occupied.
The tents are quite basic but. Our tent had a double bed with two layers of quilts. We easily got extra blankets due to low occupancy. There's minimal furniture for luggage. It's advisable to carry warm clothing (gloves, ear muffs) in addition to relying on the provided blankets.
The attached bath/toilet is private, in a separate section of the tent, with a western toilet, washbasin, and a separate bathing area. However, hot water is provided only for one hour in the morning. Strangely, the cold water is turned off at night, so it's best to avoid using the toilet during those hours. Electricity in the tent is available from 7 to 11 pm in the evening, with a light bulb and an extension cord for charging mobiles or camera batteries. There's no electricity for the rest of the day.
Cellphone service is limited, and there's no WiFi. The food is basic but of decent quality, considering the harsh conditions. The dining tent, despite having space for a buffet, offered a set meal at the table due to low occupancy. Dinner consisted of North Indian fare, while breakfast was simple but sufficient.
A narrow mountain stream in front of the tents adds to the scenic setting. The minimal staff is helpful and makes every effort to fulfill requests. In the small village of Korzok near the lake, this property seems one of the better options despite average facilities. Be prepared and accommodative of the offered facilities if you want to enjoy the lake, which is undoubtedly worth a visit.
