Our visit spanned 4 days, and it felt like a home away from home. The rooms were fantastic, offering breathtaking views. The washrooms were spotless, and the service was commendable. The staff was exceptionally helpful and courteous. Mr. Sonam, the owner, went out of his way to ensure our trip was unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel, whether you're with friends or family. Eagerly anticipating another visit soon!

Ladakh Himalayan Retreat is a charming and well-equipped hotel. The rooms on the upper floors offer a nice view of snow-covered mountains, provided you can tackle the climb up the stairs. The restaurant, while not extensive, provides enough variety to meet your needs. There's a small garden where you can bask in the sun during the day and stargaze at night. The standout feature, worthy of five stars, is the staff. The people at the reception are always helpful, the restaurant staff is unfailingly smiling and courteous, and the housekeeping staff is eager and available. The hotel promotes environmental consciousness by providing hard plastic refillable bottles in the rooms and offering mineral water bottles only on demand, a thoughtful gesture to reduce plastic waste in the eco-sensitive region of Ladakh. Keep in mind that the hotel is a bit away from the market, and the uphill walk can be challenging in the rarefied atmosphere. Overall, it was a comfortable stay for us in the beautifully rugged and unpredictably rough terrain of Leh. Thanks a lot to the Ladakh Himalayan Retreat team.

I visited Ladakh Himalayan Retreat in Leh during July and found it to be like a 5-star hotel in Leh. The hospitality was amazing, the staff was courteous, and the food was mouth-watering. I can confidently say it's one of the best hotels in Leh, a must-visit place. They offer all the facilities of a 5-star hotel in the rooms. Kudos to the team who are always there to help you at any time.

We reserved our accommodation for a day and enjoyed the room. It was quite spacious and tidy. The highlight was the hotel's 24/7 hot water facility, a lifesaver in the cold weather. Many hotels in Ladakh offer hot water solely through solar heaters. Although we encountered a problem with our door lock during check-in, the housekeeping staff worked diligently to fix it. The staff is friendly, and the food choices are satisfactory. The breakfast spread is also quite good. Certainly, a recommended place to stay for a pleasant time.
