Charming place with stunning mountain vistas
Stayed overnight on the way to Leh from Srinagar, suggested by my driver. A relatively new establishment just off the main market. Checked in during the evening and greeted by breathtaking snow-capped mountains with the last rays of the setting sun on their peaks. Got a good deal that included dinner and breakfast. Since it was our last night in Ladakh, I asked the chef to surprise us with a local dish, and he recommended Thupka, the local noodles. It was delicious, especially on a chilly night. The staff, though small in number, was exceptionally hospitable and friendly. Upon my request, they even prepared a special salt tea, as I prefer local flavors while traveling. The rooms provided comfort with continuous hot water. A fantastic choice for an overnight stay or even an extended visit to Kargil for adventure activities.

This is the best hotel in Kargil. The service is excellent, and the staff is welcoming and always ready to assist. They arranged a cab for me to the market through the hotel at a reasonable cost. A must-visit place with a very polite and friendly atmosphere. They offer good wifi, and there's a generator for backup electricity.
