Stay at Hotel Charu Palace
In September, three of us ladies explored Leh Ladakh and chose Hotel Charu Palace for our stay. Situated close to Leh airport, the hotel offers tranquil surroundings and picturesque rooms with beautiful views. The place is impeccably clean. The owner and staff are exceptionally kind and courteous, providing extraordinary service. The food is good. Our room overlooked snow-covered mountains, a delightful treat for our eyes. Hotel Charu Palace made our stay relaxed, peaceful, and joyful.

Pleasant Stay in Leh
As part of a Ladakh tour with a group of four, we booked this hotel and stayed for four nights. Although a bit outside the town, it's an ideal place if you prefer relaxation after sightseeing, featuring a lovely sitting area in the garden. Our only minor complaint was that the food leaned heavily towards vegetarian options. Some days had a single chicken choice, while others were entirely vegetarian.

Scenic views and smiling service
Selected this hotel for its serene location outside the city, and the promised mountain views were indeed breathtaking! We experienced two different rooms during our stay at Charu—one on the 1st floor and another on the 2nd floor. There was a noticeable difference in cleanliness and amenities, with the 2nd-floor room being more spacious and cleaner. Hot water was readily available at various times throughout the day.
While there was no Wi-Fi during our stay, a staff member went above and beyond by creating a hotspot for us during meals in the dining room. The buffet offerings were ample and tasty, and the staff consistently served us with a smile and promptness!
Overall, our stay at the hotel was delightful, and we particularly enjoyed relaxing on the lovely patio, especially during dusk with the sun setting behind the mountains!

I highly recommend Hotel Charu Palace
I stayed for four nights, intermittently, over a one-week period. The modern hotel rooms were incredibly comfortable, offering fantastic views of the snow-capped mountains. The hotel boasts a beautifully maintained garden where you can relax, soaking up the intense sun and enjoying the scenery. The entire staff was friendly, and the service was excellent. The owner was consistently available at the hotel to address any questions. The buffet breakfast and dinner featured a diverse range of items, with the staff always ready to accommodate special dietary needs. Situated on the outskirts of Leh, the hotel enjoys quiet and peaceful surroundings. I highly recommend Hotel Charu Palace for a cozy and pleasant stay.
