The tents are indeed comfortable and roomy, offering a nice view of Thiksey Monastery. However, the overall atmosphere lacks character. The food is acceptable but falls short in variety and creativity. The staff didn't go the extra mile, leaving us with higher expectations. There are better and cheaper options in the area.

The location, tents, and overall experience were good. Unfortunately, housekeeping and cleanliness concerns were not promptly addressed. The food did not meet expectations considering the price. It's advisable to avoid their packed lunches and explore local restaurants. The staff wasn't very accommodating, and road noise persisted throughout the night, falling short of the expected standard for the price paid.

In Leh, where high-end hotels are scarce, Chamba Camp Thiksey stands out as the closest thing to a luxury hotel. The hotel team, particularly Dorje at the front desk and Indranil in housekeeping, was outstanding. Dorje excelled in organizing personalized experiences, especially for my wife's birthday. He arranged for the band Groove Ladakh, adding a delightful touch to the celebrations. The camp's food was not exceptional. Ordering any a la carte dish required a day's notice, which was inconvenient. Despite the price, the camp surpasses many other options in Leh.

Our honeymoon stay at this camp was pricey, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to our expectations in terms of facilities and overall experience. Having stayed in other, better and more affordable hotels during our Ladakh trip, I wouldn't recommend this camp.

Our vacation at Chamba Camp Thiksey was truly remarkable. The serene and beautiful surroundings, coupled with amazing weather, made it a great experience. The service provided by the staff was excellent; they were accommodating and welcoming. A special thanks to Ms. Ayushi, the manager, and the entire team for making our stay so memorable.
